Plaka - Mountain tea

Mountain tea is traditionally drunk all year round to strengthen the immune system, detoxify the body and relieve gastrointestinal discomfort. Rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it is particularly appreciated in winter to fight seasonal flu, colds, relieve sore throats and help purify the respiratory tract.

Caffeine-free, this tea is ideal to enjoy as soon as you wake up and until the evening before going to sleep. It can also be consumed by children as well as pregnant women.

Inspiration of the Plaka box:

Plaka, the grandmother in Albanian, is an emblematic figure of Albanian society. Simple but elegant, she is traditionally dressed in black and wears a finely embroidered white scarf.

The youngest, whom she welcomes warmly and with comforting words, can always turn to her for wise and precious advice.

She is committed to taking care of her family. She often says "Te keqen nena", which means "May grandma take your pain away". In case of illness, Plaka always has a natural remedy to offer. Against a cold, sore throat, the flu or fatigue, she will always prepare caj mali, the mountain tea.
